Technology & Product Details

GENE-UP^® TYPER is a typing technology developed by bioMérieux, in partnership with Mérieux NutriSciences. This method is based on real-time PCR assay, combined with a probabilistic approach, to identify strain typing of specific microorganisms.

Current targeted microorganisms with this solution are:

Listeria monocytogenes
Salmonella Enterica subsp. Enterica (Coming Soon)

GENE-UP® TYPER is combined with a web platform (Augmented-DX) for a dynamic visualization of strains and clusters: the dashboard of the platform provides efficient information on patterns and potential sources of contaminations.
