Data Collection: Gather accurate primary data by distributing questionnaires throughout the value chain, utilizing Mérieux NutriSciences’ data collection module.
Data Validation: Ensure data quality through a validation process that leverages both client and our domain expertise.
LCA Modules: Utilize our expertise in Life Cycle Inventory (LCI) data generation with specialized Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) modules for crops, animal systems, and (food) processing.
Background Data Module: Combine generated LCIs with high-quality background life cycle data from databases like Agri-footprint and ecoinvent to create a comprehensive inventory of the product life cycle.
LCA Impact Calculation: Our in-house LCA calculator quickly and reliably calculates a wide range of environmental impacts, including carbon footprint. It follows the European environmental footprinting guidance (PEF).
Result Interpretation: Our result interpretation module simplifies environmental impact analysis by providing a clear contribution analysis. It helps our clients to identify primary footprint contributors and create sustainability and reduction strategies.
Import/Export: Import and export results in common LCA data formats (SimaPro .CSV / ILCD XML).

The flexibility of the modules makes it possible to expand the scope of the project, and for instance add additional impact categories, or extend the scope of the calculations by broadening the system boundaries.
