management for residues of veterinary medicines in food were established in Codex Alimentarius in CX-MRM 2-2018 and are now updated in the Codex Veterinary Drug residue database.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/data.europa.eu\/eli\/reg\/2010\/37(1)\/oj\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Regulation (EU) 37\/2010<\/a> is the framework regulation defining pharmacologically active substances and their classification regarding maximum residue limits in food of animal origin.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/data.europa.eu\/eli\/reg\/2019\/6\/oj\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Regulation (EU) 2019\/6<\/a> lays down rules for the placing on the market, manufacturing, import, export, supply, distribution, pharmacovigilance, control, and use of veterinary medicinal products, and strengthens the EU\u2019s campaign to tackle resistance to antibiotics.<br \/>\nThe aim is to promote the informed and responsible use of veterinary medicines, strengthen the market, and ensure the availability and accessibility of these medicines, while ensuring the highest level of protection of animal, human, and environmental health.<\/li>\n<li><a
