  • Preparation, documenting and reviewing of Laboratory Process Controls and Control Charts.
  • Reconstitution, preparation and maintenance of reference stock cultures.

Merieux NutriSciences in Claremont, Cape Town, has a vacancy for an IT Systems Administrator to take responsibility for the effective provisioning, installation / configuration, operation, and maintenance of hardware and software (i.e. LIMS, CRM) systems and related infrastructure, as well as web based systems. 

The incumbent will be responsible for: 

  • Introduction of new systems and hardware / software roll-outs
  • User requirement definition and development
  • Application development
  • System configuration and testing
  • Installation, implementation of ongoing support
  • System enhancements/upgrades
  • Bug fixes

The post will suit an individual with proven analytical ability and ability to learn new systems. 

Requirements:

  • Degree / diploma in Computer Science or related field (or similar)

This apprenticeship is for an ambitious, self-motivated individual who wants to learn and grow their marketing knowledge-base and skills in a hands-on working environment. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Brand Coordination - briefing and managing offline marketing and sales material.
  • Project management – assist with the co-ordination of online and offline marketing and communications projects.
  • Communication with existing and potential suppliers.
  • Content Strategy & Marketing – assisting with the conceptualisation and creation of content marketing campaigns across email and social media.
  • Customer Relationship Management – assisting with online initiatives designed to nurture and improve the Company’s customer experience.
  • Digital Marketing co-ordination, including website, social media and email marketing platforms.
  • Research for general marketing and communications campaigns/content.
  • Data compilation, editing and maintenance relating to the Company’s CRM system.
  • Assistance with internal communications and initiatives (working with the HR department).
  • Graphic Design – editing and possible creation of designed materials, as required. 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Recent tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, PR, or related fields.
