The EMS check group deals with the measurement of stationary source emissions from large industrial installations. In particular the activities relate to:

  • Site evaluation
  • Drawing up of plans for site measurement and adaptation
  • Monitoring of all the parameters envisaged by the integrated environmental authorizations or authorizations to emissions (QAL2 checks, AST, linearity, accuracy, correlation)
  • QAL2 checks [procedure to verify the correct EMS operation through a series of measurements in parallel, using the standard reference systems (SRM). Before carrying parallel tests out, check the correct EMS operation by means of functional tests performed by EMS plant operator or maintenance staff (Emission Measurement System in continuous).]
