{"id":205769,"date":"2024-08-19T15:16:00","date_gmt":"2024-08-19T14:16:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.merieuxnutrisciences.com\/?p=205769"},"modified":"2025-08-19T15:56:28","modified_gmt":"2025-08-19T14:56:28","slug":"alcaloides-do-tropano-no-milho-e-seus-derivados","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.merieuxnutrisciences.com\/pt\/alcaloides-do-tropano-no-milho-e-seus-derivados\/","title":{"rendered":"Alcaloides do tropano, no milho e seus derivados"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Os <strong>alcaloides do tropano<\/strong> (AT) s\u00e3o <strong>metabolitos secund\u00e1rios t\u00f3xicos<\/strong> produzidos naturalmente por plantas pertencentes aos g\u00e9neros <em>Brassicaceae, Solanaceae, Proteaceae, Rhizophoraceae e Erythroxylaceae<\/em>. Existem mais de 200 AT diferentes identificados, e podem ser encontrados em qualquer parte da planta, incluindo sementes, frutos, flores, folhas e caules. Os TAs mais estudados nos alimentos s\u00e3o a atropina e a escopolamina. A produ\u00e7\u00e3o destes alcaloides  \u00e9 um mecanismo de defesa importante para as plantas contra infesta\u00e7\u00f5es de pragas, mas, ao mesmo tempo, tamb\u00e9m <strong>representa uma fonte preocupante de contamina\u00e7\u00e3o para alimentos<\/strong> e ra\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A contamina\u00e7\u00e3o dos alimentos pode ser consequ\u00eancia da mat\u00e9ria-prima na qual os alcaloides do tropano est\u00e3o naturalmente presentes. Por outro lado, a contamina\u00e7\u00e3o pode ocorrer atrav\u00e9s da colheita conjunta de plantas, ou seja, ervas daninhas que cont\u00eam alcal\u00f3ides do tropano, sendo as esp\u00e9cies da fam\u00edlia <em>Solanaceae <\/em>as mais proeminentes, como a Datura <em>stramonium<\/em>. As partes desta planta foram identificadas como impurezas acidentais nas culturas agr\u00edcolas mais importantes \u2013 milho, trigo sarraceno, girassol, soja, milho-mi\u00fado e outras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A 5 de fevereiro de 2018, a Autoridade publicou um <strong>relat\u00f3rio cient\u00edfico sobre a avalia\u00e7\u00e3o da exposi\u00e7\u00e3o alimentar aguda a alcaloides do tropano<\/strong> na popula\u00e7\u00e3o da Uni\u00e3o, tendo em conta novos dados sobre ocorr\u00eancias. Constatou-se que o <strong>limite da dose aguda de refer\u00eancia foi excedido<\/strong> para v\u00e1rios grupos populacionais. A seguir, em agosto de 2021, foi publicado o <strong>Regulamento (UE) 2021\/1408<\/strong>, que ampliou a aplica\u00e7\u00e3o desses limites a outros g\u00e9neros aliment\u00edcios, alterando o anexo do Regulamento (CE) n.\u00ba 1881\/2006. Em 25 de abril de 2023, entrou em vigor o <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/eli\/reg\/2023\/915\/oj\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/eli\/reg\/2023\/915\/oj\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Regulamento (UE) 2023\/915<\/a><\/strong>, que revogou o anterior Regulamento e consolidou os limites m\u00e1ximos de v\u00e1rios contaminantes \u2014 incluindo os alcal\u00f3ides do tropano \u2014 num diploma \u00fanico e mais abrangente. No entanto, os <strong>limites aplic\u00e1veis aos alcal\u00f3ides do tropano come\u00e7aram a ser efetivamente exigidos a partir de 1 de setembro de 2022<\/strong>, conforme os prazos estabelecidos em disposi\u00e7\u00f5es transit\u00f3rias do mesmo Regulamento (UE) 2023\/915.
