The Mérieux Nutrisciences emission sampling team has a thirty-year experience and it is composed of highly skilled technicians.

It also has state-of-the-art materials and sampling lines: they are constantly updated and meet the requirements of technical standards. It deals with the measurement of stationary source emissions from large industrial facilities (incinerators, refining and petrochemical plants).

Our Services

The EMS check group deals with the measurement of stationary source emissions from large industrial installations. In particular the activities relate to:

  • site evaluation;
  • drawing up of plans for site measurement and adaptation;
  • monitoring of all the parameters envisaged by the integrated environmental authorizations or authorizations to emissions (QAL2 checks, AST, linearity, accuracy, correlation);
  • QAL2 checks [procedure to verify the correct EMS operation through a series of measurements in parallel, using the standard reference systems (SRM). Before carrying parallel tests out, check the correct EMS operation by means of functional tests performed by EMS plant operator or maintenance staff (Emission Measurement System in continuous).]

Support activities carried out by the emission team concern:

  • site assessment
  • drawing up of plans for site measurement and adaptation;
  • monitoring of all the parameters envisaged by the integrated environmental authorizations or authorizations to emissions;
  • data processing and drafting of the final measurement report;
  • the technical manager is in charge of the planning of activities liaising with customers; he awaits the closing of the session, then he processes and closes the final technical reports. He shall regularly fill the file on work progress and he is responsible for site measurement plan and drawing of test reports;
  • the technical supervisor waits for the closing of the session, then he processes all data and closes the final technical reports; he cooperates with the person in charge of drawing the progress report.

Besides our analytical activities, we provide our customers with a Customer Care service staffed by highly skilled technicians dedicated to:

  • registration of test samples in the corporate IT system (LOGIN);
  • legislative and technical advice;
  • preparation of analytical plans according to regulatory requirements or specific requests;
  • reporting with remarks (test reports), compliance assessments, interpretations and comments of analysis results in compliance with regulations or special requirements (AIA1, legislative derogations, special technical specifications, technical standards, etc.) or proprietary chemical and test knowledge of industrial processes;
  • preparation of reports for research analysis (that exceed the usual analytical process in type and timing);
  • close cooperation with the sales team, the laboratory and the administrative department;
  • consultancy services to support public and private bodies in the event of criminal proceedings, seizures, etc.;
