The term “waste” refers to any material that has been discarded or abandoned, according to legislation or as a result of an industrial, agricultural, public or domestic activity and it may be solid, liquid or semi-solid. 

All manufacturing activities involve the production of solid and liquid waste to be classified in order to establish the correct methods for its management and disposal. Mérieux NutriSciences laboratories are able to perform waste classification and assist customers in drawing up their waste management programs.
