Hexavalent chromium in water intended for human consumption

The Ministerial Decree issued on July 6, 2017 and published in the Official Journal of the Italian Republic on July 15, 2017 defers the effective date of the 10 µg/l threshold established for the hexavalent chromium value in water intended for human consumption until December 31, 2018.

The extension was introduced by the Italian Ministry of Health owing to issues raised by UTILITALIA (the Italian association of water, energy and waste companies) with the implementation of the aforementioned threshold.
