Dans <strong>42 % des cas<\/strong>, les autorit\u00e9s nationales charg\u00e9es de la protection des consommateurs avaient des raisons de penser que les all\u00e9gations \u00e9taient exag\u00e9r\u00e9es, fausses ou trompeuses. Cela pourrait constituer une pratique commerciale d\u00e9loyale au sens des r\u00e8gles de l&rsquo;UE. Le \u00ab&nbsp;Greenwashing&nbsp;\u00bb a pris de l&rsquo;ampleur car les consommateurs recherchent de plus en plus des produits respectueux de l&rsquo;environnement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00c0 cet \u00e9gard, il convient \u00e9galement de souligner l&rsquo;initiative de l&rsquo;UE intitul\u00e9e \u00ab <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/info\/law\/better-regulation\/have-your-say\/initiatives\/12467-Politique-des-consommateurs-renforcer-le-role-des-consommateurs-dans-la-transition-ecologique_fr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Renforcer le r\u00f4le des consommateurs dans la transition \u00e9cologique<\/a> \u00bb. Cette initiative vise notamment \u00e0 garantir que les consommateurs re\u00e7oivent des informations fiables et utiles sur les produits. Elle vise \u00e0 emp\u00eacher la diffusion d&rsquo;informations environnementales exag\u00e9r\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">L&rsquo;importance d&rsquo;une communication claire<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les <strong>all\u00e9gations<\/strong> et les <strong>labels environnementaux<\/strong> jouent un r\u00f4le crucial dans la description d&rsquo;un produit. Ils visent tous deux \u00e0 communiquer ses performances et ses caract\u00e9ristiques environnementales. Les all\u00e9gations et labels deviennent une source d&rsquo;information fiable lorsqu&rsquo;ils sont bas\u00e9s sur des \u00e9tudes scientifiques et objectives, en conformit\u00e9 avec les normes et les lois en vigueur. Cela permet d&rsquo;\u00e9viter le Greenwashing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En revanche, lorsqu&rsquo;il n&rsquo;y a pas de preuves scientifiques et que le seul but est d&rsquo;am\u00e9liorer l&rsquo;image de la marque, le fabricant ne fournit pas d&rsquo;informations authentiques \u00e0 ses consommateurs et risque d&rsquo;\u00eatre critiqu\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-etiquettes-et-allegations\">\u00c9tiquettes et all\u00e9gations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>L&rsquo;\u00e9tiquetage environnemental<\/strong> d\u00e9crit objectivement les impacts environnementaux d&rsquo;un produit, en incluant souvent des informations sur la collecte des d\u00e9chets. Certains pays europ\u00e9ens ont rendu l&rsquo;\u00e9tiquetage environnemental obligatoire, mais les r\u00e9glementations et leurs objectifs varient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les <strong>all\u00e9gations environnementales <\/strong>sont des d\u00e9clarations fond\u00e9es sur les normes <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iso.org\/fr\/standard\/37456.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ISO 14040<\/a> et <a href=\"https:\/\/iso.org\/fr\/standard\/79479.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ISO 14020<\/a>. Elles ne sont pas obligatoires et transmettent les aspects environnementaux d&rsquo;un produit ou d&rsquo;un processus.
