On le trouve notamment sous forme d\u2019agr\u00e9gat ou sous forme d\u2019agglom\u00e9rat, dont au moins 50 % des particules, dans la r\u00e9partition num\u00e9rique par taille, pr\u00e9sentent une ou plusieurs dimensions externes se situant entre 1 nm et 100 nm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ainsi,<strong> <\/strong>la <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/EN\/TXT\/?uri=CELEX%3A32011H0696\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">recommandation 2011\/696<\/a><\/strong> s&rsquo;applique aux nanomat\u00e9riaux \u00ab\u00a0naturels, d\u00e9riv\u00e9s ou fabriqu\u00e9s\u00a0\u00bb tels que d\u00e9crits ci-dessous :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"font-size:18px\">Les mat\u00e9riaux naturels se trouvant dans l&rsquo;environnement, tels que les cendres volcaniques, les min\u00e9raux argileux,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:18px\">Les mat\u00e9riaux d\u00e9riv\u00e9s \u00e9tant le r\u00e9sultat d&rsquo;un processus d&rsquo;origine humaine, dans un but autre que la production de nanomat\u00e9riaux (par exemple : les processus de combustion),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:18px\">Enfin, les mat\u00e9riaux manufactur\u00e9s, faisant g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 des mat\u00e9riaux fabriqu\u00e9s dans un but pr\u00e9cis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-nanomateriaux-et-innovation-durable\"><strong>Nanomat\u00e9riaux et innovation durable<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">D&rsquo;autre part, l&rsquo;identification, la caract\u00e9risation et la quantification des nanomat\u00e9riaux dans les processus industriels et les produits sont essentielles pour la protection de l&rsquo;environnement et de la sant\u00e9 humaine.
