As part of the Institut Mérieux, Mérieux NutriSciences Corporation and its subsidiaries and affiliates are strongly committed to public health. The Company’s positive reputation is based on values handed down through generations. These roots allow us to continue to grow as a leader in our field.
Our leadership position to protect and enhance consumers’ health, our expertise in food safety, and our international presence give us an obligation to always act in compliance with the legal requirements and with the best integrity and ethical principles and to behave as a responsible corporate citizen.
The purpose of the Mérieux NutriSciences Code of Conduct is to define the compliance and ethics principles that apply to the Company and each officer, director, employee, agent, and contractor of the Company.
The Code will also govern our relationships with our customers, suppliers, business partners and more generally all stakeholders of Mérieux NutriSciences.
Corporate social responsibility
As a global player in food safety and quality, one of our commitments is to take great care with regard to:
The impact of our activities on the environment,
Our human resources policies and practices,
At Mérieux NutriSciences, we are very aware of the issue of sustainability and we seek to incorporate this concept in the way that we do business. As a result, we take concrete action in this area and apply an effective corporate social responsibility policy.
Global quality system
We provide our customers with a global quality system relying on three pillars:
Quality technical support
Quality control at local level
The technical support pillar enables customers to benefit from the knowledge and expertise of our teams, harmonized methods, validated processes, and regular and permanent training of Mérieux NutriSciences' teams.
The quality assurance pillar ensures that the various entities within the organization comply with the Mérieux NutriSciences quality policy and defines the quality system structure and procedures. Regular audits are performed on the system.
The final pillar, quality control at local level, ensures compliance with corporate quality standards, and strong links are maintained between technical support and quality assurance.
These three complementary structures form one of Mérieux NutriSciences’ strengths, as they ensure consistency across our worldwide network of laboratories.
In addition to our global quality system, we constantly strive to innovate and improve our operations through lean management, proficiency testing, etc.
Our public health mission is to provide 100% reliable results on a sustainable basis everywhere.
