Allergen tests are analysis performed on food products, surfaces, swabs, air or cleaning waters to determine the possible presence of allergens such as soya, gluten, milk, nuts….

 

Mérieux NutriSciences uses techniques like PCR, ELISA, LC/MS-MS (Tandem Mass Spectrometry) to determine the presence of the requested allergens.

It is important to know that 6% of children and 3% to 4% of adults are affected by food allergies, and it's mandatory to display them clearly on labels in order to protect the consumers health.
