Are you a produce grower and/or packer that currently have HACCP certification? Or do you have no certification? If the answer is YES, then you need to know that by the 1st January 2019 the major Australian retailers will require you to be audited to one of the approved base schemes for the supply of your product indirectly into the retail market.

What does this mean?

All current HACCP certificates will need to transition to a program recognised by Australian retailers by 1st January 2019. Depending on your operation, the approved programs we offer are as following:

  • For growers:
    • Freshcare Food safety & Quality*
    • SQF
  • For packers:
    • Freshcare Food safety & Quality*
    • SQF
    • BRC Global Standard for Food Safety
  • For distributors:
    • SQF

*Freshcare training is a pre-requisite for Freshcare certification. At least one person (per grower) must be trained and accredited by Freshcare before the Freshcare audit can be arranged. Contact us if you need our assistance to find a Freshcare trainer in your area.

Contact us for a confidential discussion as to the best program to suit your needs.
