Waste characterization analysis is carried out to establish the correct methods for its management, such as recovery or disposal (treatment, incineration).

Waste-to-Energy facilities allow the re-use of certain waste as energy sources or raw materials, without resorting to natural resources and fossil fuels, especially in energy-intensive industries, such as those producing concrete or energy. These alternative fuels have to be characterized to determine their most appropriate use. The characterization of physical, chemical and biological waste can be carried out to establish the appropriate methods for its management, collection, treatment and disposal. The following analytical services for liquid waste are available:

  • classification of waste to be disposed according to national and international regulations
  • in vitro tests to evaluate the behavior of high PH materials.
