Food labelling regulations around the world are frequently changing and becoming increasingly stringent. It can be challenging to ensure that your product labels are consistently compliant with constantly evolving requirements.

The first essential step is to determine the features of the product to be labelled, making sure that all the ingredients, including additives, are permitted and used in the quantities and/or for the types of use laid down by the legislation of the countries to which the products are exported. This is necessary in order to determine the exact legal name of the product and of each ingredient.
The service can be requested in two different ways:

Review of an existing label
• Supervision of all mandatory texts and any claim/pictures/drawings present on the label
• A formal report with comments and any amendments to be performed in order to ensure each label meets mandatory labeling guidelines

Creation of the label from scratch
• A formal report containing all mandatory texts in the language of the destination country
The service is provided for:
-    food and beverages
-    non-food consumables

The service is addressed to:
-    manufacturers, industries
-    retailers, exporters/importers
-    hotel, restaurants, cafés

In addition to the label conformity service it is possible to require the following services:

Express Service
We can reduce the standard  delivery turnaround time, subject to availability

Level of Risk
We add to the report information  regarding any risks and penalties in case of non-compliance

Format personalisation
We can provide the report according to the client's requests

Graphic Conformity according to regulations
We check label's compliance to graphic requirements set by the relevant laws

Review of non mandatory statements
e.g. recipes, marketing texts, etc.

Looking for another type of service?

Food labelling regulations around the world are frequently changing and becoming increasingly stringent. It can be challenging to ensure that your product labels are consistently compliant with constantly evolving requirements.

Consumers are increasingly concerned about the quality and nutritional content of food. Nutritional information such as sugar, salt and fat content should be confirmed and validated by analytical techniques in order to be accurately included on labels and packaging.  In addition, if your product contains health and/or nutrition claims, these must be validated, and our laboratory team can test your product to ensure the claims are accurate.

Consumers around the world increasingly check the label for nutritional information before deciding to purchase a food product. Nutritional labelling is designed to provide a system for conveying information about the nutrient content of food in a standardised format. In many countries nutritional labelling is subject to different regulatory requirements.
